We started Lizard because shipping an app takes too many steps. You write the code, then you fight config files, then you wait for someone on a platform team to say yes. We wanted one command instead.

We're a small team, and we built Lizard the way we wished infrastructure worked when we were the ones waiting on a platform team. Every choice in it, from snapshot-based deploys to per-second billing, comes from that experience.
